For those interested, here are the modular pieces I am planning on building the generic houses out of in UDK. I have 4 large basic house structures and some extra additions I can add on to them to create more complexity and variation. Then I have the windows, door, planters, etc.
Long time no update. Pooop. School has been keeping me busy doing silly things.
Here is a little preview of what I’ve been working on. Textures are in the works. ;)
This house is sitting at 6,000 tris.

Guys I lied, after some advice from some kind people, I made another version. The moss still needs some work, but Ill come back to that later.
Finished the roof texture for the most part. Have a version with plants and a version without plants that way I can vertex blend between them and create more variation.
