Some quick screen grabs of the scene. This is what I turned in for school finals. Now time to go back and redo/fix everything up over break and really make this environment shine.

For those interested, here are the modular pieces I am planning on building the generic houses out of in UDK. I have 4 large basic house structures and some extra additions I can add on to them to create more complexity and variation. Then I have the windows, door, planters, etc.

Working on da roof. WIP

Guys I lied, after some advice from some kind people, I made another version. The moss still needs some work, but Ill come back to that later. 

Finished the roof texture for the most part. Have a version with plants and a version without plants that way I can vertex blend between them and create more variation.

Updates, Finished blocking out the scene for the most part. Time to tackle the terrain. Bit nervous.

I didn’t win but I received an honorable mention from them which is awesome and its cool being on there website. :D
