Prop update. Pretty much done.
Almost done with the texture for this. Need to work on the logo, valve and touch up the wood in some places.
Attempting to paint. :/ This cliff texture was a pain, and I’m not very happy with it. I’m going to explore making some cliff meshes with unique uvs and see if I cant get better results. Things to improve on, shapes and forms when painting.
new project, I’m going to be making some modular buildings, thought I’d try and make something beside oh you know, trees. Working on some tiling brick textures for one of the buildings.
still working on this wood texture. Getting close to done though. I’m hoping I can finish it up tomorrow.
Painted some wood today… so exciting. The old moldy/mossy boards tile at 256x256. I also laid out the uvs for the other wood elements and started to texture the large beams. Fist image is the texture and it tiled in UDK. Second image is a progress screen shot out of maya.
First pass on one of the tillable ground textures I’m working on, this texture will be used around the trees. I thought it would be cool if the roots were pushed to the surface a bit add some nice detail to the ground.
I’m still working out a few tiling errors which is why I havent posted it tiled yet.
